Meet Brian, Founder of Black Circle Coffee Roasters
Brian Nagy started Black Circle Coffee Roasters because he got tired of buying bags that were already past their prime. Before coffee, he spent nearly twenty years running supply chain and operations for Starbucks, Hershey, Chewy, and others. That background taught him exactly how coffee usually loses its freshness on the way to your cup, and he built Black Circle to fix that.
Every batch is roasted to order in Sarasota, Florida, in small runs, so each bean gets the attention a full-scale operation can't give it. Some roasts are bright, single-origin coffees. Others are bolder blends built for an everyday cup. Either way, it's roasted close to the day you drink it.
The name comes from vinyl. Brian's a music guy, and he thinks about roasting the way a producer thinks about a record: get the balance and timing right, and the rest takes care of itself.
New to specialty coffee or just looking for a better everyday roast, Black Circle ships fresh roasted coffee beans, roasted to order, straight from Sarasota to your door.
